Imperial Buildings is an impressive 4-storey office building located just west of the River Lagan in Belfast and houses 16 tenants.
What we did
RES were asked to develop an access control system for Imperial buildings to control entry to the building, improve security and automatically secure the building at end of business. RES selected the Paxton 10 access control system which allows the integration of over 1000 devices onto a secure cloud based access control platform.
The building was supplied with a new intercom, CCTV cameras and audio video handsets, to create an integrated and controlled entry system. Assa Abloy products were selected to lock the building and facilitate a compliant escape mechanism. The CCTV can be remotely view to check on the status of the building and the system is fully linked to the fire alarm system for automatic release. Users can access the building by code, proximity tag or Bluetooth key.
Frazer Kidd have worked with RES for over 15 years and have always found them to be very professional across the range of properties that we manage. We recently challenged RES to develop a modern Security and Access Control solution for Imperial Buildings, 72 High Street, Belfast. The system was delivered on schedule and budget and is operating exactly as we requested. We look forward to many more years working in partnership with RES Limited.
