Jason court was provided with fire, security and healthcare specific systems by RES. The nurse call system on site was combined with staff attack and staff assistance systems to increase response to residents and improve staff safety. The Nurse call on site is a C-tec Quantec using surveyor technology to monitor the performance of the facility. The site is one of the largest care homes in NI and is truly state of the art. There are two nurse call systems to cover the premises. The staff attack system works on infrared and wireless radio technology. Nurses in critical areas carry wireless transmission pendants that activate in an emergency and transmit their location to suitable response staff.
Residents in the home are provided with excellent facilities and top quality rooms. Each room is fitted with an addressable nurse call point for resident safety and to ensure that nurses can respond quickly to locations. Displays located throughout the home show the location of the calls being raised and the response times are recorded. Residents with specialised needs can be provided with a wide range of accessories to help with raising alarms to get assistance.
